The Saxon State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labor and Transport (SMWA) invites you to Leipzig for the international industry conference »Industry’s Hidden Champions – Paths to Market Leadership«. The conference will take place at the opening of the leading fairs Z and INEC on the grounds of the Leipziger Messe. Get insights into the strategies that successful Hidden Champions use in daily business. Interactive masterclasses, best practice examples and inspiring keynotes from corporate practice and science convey methods and perspectives are offered for effective corporate development. Participants receive a variety of opportunities to exchange experiences and suggestions for their own strategy development.

The HC InnoMonitor is a systematic analytical tool for determining the innovative capacity of your company. On the basis of the House of Innovation Excellence, which was developed by the research group Innovation Excellence of the University of Applied Sciences Dortmund, around 50 empirically identified factors for innovation success are examined at three central levels. More than 750 companies have successfully participated in InnoMonitor over the last 5 years.
- At the first level, innovation success is presented as the result of the underlying success factors to be located in the innovation process and in the available resources.
- On the second level, the innovation process is presented in three consecutive process phases, starting with idea management through innovation development to innovation marketing.
- The third level of resources (broader) includes organization, culture, leadership, and situational (regional) factors. These have both a direct and indirect effect on the innovation success that has to be determined.

After answering the online HC-InnoMonitor, participating companies receive a one-sided visualized assessment of their innovation management – individually for their company. Benchmarking allows you to identify strengths and weaknesses as well as to derive design and action recommendations.
At the Industry’s Hidden Champions Conference, you will receive the HC-InnoMonitor from our team in printed form and will be able to deepen your interest in selected topics with the scientists of the Innovation Excellence research group and receive suggestions in the Master Classes.
